Join a gym. Any gym
will do, but the best option is a Pilates or yoga studio, even Barre; something
where the clientele is predominantly women, as are the instructors. If you join something like a Planet Fitness
or OneLife, look for one that offers group classes – again, you want yoga,
Pilates, or boot camp classes, preferably with female instructors. In addition to physical fitness, the goal
here is to make friends and develop relationships that will keep you
accountable and coming back, so you avoid the usual brief burst of activity and
then quickly abandon the program when things get in the way. For all you singles, who knows where this
might take you ;)
If you
don’t have the budget for a gym membership I expect you to work out at home. Running is a great way to stay in shape, and
there are thousands of free “couch to 5K” type plans online. There are also any
number of YouTube channels with free workout videos – Blogilates is a great one
to start. If you work out alone, develop
a training plan that you can follow
You have until Saturday to accomplish this task. Once
you have signed up for your membership or created your training plan, let me
know if the comments, or send me a message.
